Чтобы научиться читать, малышу не обязательно знать названия букв. Распространенное явление: мама купила азбуку для детей или букварь, ребенок выучил буквы, даже выучил алфавит, а читать не может. Слова у него не клеятся.

Известный педагог Николай Зайцев утверждает – азбука для малышей вредна! В азбуке и букваре на каждую букву алфавита дана картинка: А — аист, Б — бегемот и т.д. Когда мы учимся читать по азбуке, малыш запомнит и букву, и картинку, но как потом объяснить ему, что зебра — аист — ящерица — цапля, мелькающие в его сознании, должны образовать слово «заяц»? Как научить ребенка читать?
